Their Mission:
VALOR Clinic Foundation provides assistance accessing benefits and shelter to Veterans with limited or no access to care. They find shelter for Veterans who, due to health or means, are unable to find or keep shelter of their own, provide Post Traumatic Stress resources to Veterans through their “Veterans Unstoppable” program. To improve the lives of our veterans, they strive to provide nationwide integrated medical care in the future.
Who They Help:
- They help those who helped our country in uniform. All five service branches including the Reserves and National Guard.
- They do NOT help veterans with dishonorable or in Lieu of court marshal discharges.
- They welcome hometown heroes, our first responders, into their Veterans Unstoppable program. Our first responders deal with challenges similar to those faced by our Veterans.
- Our Law Enforcement heroes, in particular, deal with suicide at alarming rates.
Salient Points:
- None of the executives are paid
- One paid employee is the house manager at the homeless Veteran’s sanctuary
- Extremely low overhead expenses of approximately 7%
- Their work force is all volunteers
- They have a 95% success rate in breaking the cycle of chronic homelessness among veterans at Paul’s House
- Zero suicides among Veterans Unstoppable program participants
